• 2 to 3 tablespoons chili powder
• 1 / 2 teaspoon ground cumin
• 1 / 4 teaspoon ground black pepper
• 1Teaspoon salt, or to taste
• 1 1 / 2 pounds of lean beef

Green Pork Chili

Ingredients:

* 2 red onions, chopped
* 1 pound tomatillos, husked, rinsed, and halved
* 3 jalapenos, stemmed, seeded and halved
* 2 garlic cloves
* 4 tablespoons canola oil
* 2 pounds boneless pork shoulder, cut into 1-inch cubes
* 5 cups chicken stock
* 1 cup chopped fresh cilantro leaves
* Salt
* Pepper
* 10 flour tortillas, warmed

Directions:

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.

In a large bowl, toss the onions, tomatillos, jalapenos, and garlic with 1 tablespoon of the olive oil and spread on a baking sheet. Roast until soft and starting to brown, about 20 to 30 minutes, stirring twice during roasting.

Meanwhile, in a large Dutch oven over medium-high heat, add the oil and heat. Brown the pork, in batches, until well-browned. When browned, add all of the pork back to the pan and cover with chicken stock. Add the roasted vegetables, cover the pan and place in the oven. Cook until the pork is very tender, about 1 1/2 hours.

While pork is cooking, place the cilantro in a food processor. Add 2 tablespoons of water and puree. Remove the pork from the oven and stir in the cilantro puree. Season, to taste, with salt and pepper. Serve with warm flour tortillas.

Griff's American Grill Black Pepper & Garlic Steak

Ingredients:

4 lbs. (approximate) thick rib eye steak (four steaks), cut

2 & 2 / 3 cup Italian dressing (cheap is good!)

8 tbsp. Butter

4 largeCloves garlic, chives

2 tbsp. freshly ground black pepper (or more if you love black pepper!)

Instructions:

Marinate steak in Italian dressing for at least 1 / 2 hours. In a small pan melt the butter and garlic, heating slowly until the garlic is golden brown. Place steaks on hot grill (preferably charcoal) grill, sprinkling half of the pepper on steaks. Once the first side is finished, turn the steaks and sprinkle over the rest of pepper on steaks. With a spoon,Pour the butter and garlic mixture over the top of the steaks while they are still also available.

Griff's American Grilled Potato & Pepper Bags

Ingredients:

3 cups unpeeled, sliced potatoes

2 / 3 cup green bell pepper (with membrane & seeds removed), diced

2 / 3 red pepper (with membrane & seeds removed), diced

2 / 3 orange peppers (away) with membrane & seeds, diced

2 / 3 cup onion, cut into long, diced

2 tbsp. Jalapeno pepper (withMembrane & seeds removed), finely chopped

2 large cloves garlic, chives

1 tsp. Lawry's ® seasoned pepper (or just black pepper)

1 / 2 tsp. Salt

4 tbsp. Butter

Instructions:

Combine everything except the butter in a large bowl, mix everything well. Cut 4 18 "x 12" sheets of aluminum foil. Insert the flat foil (dull side up) and put 1 / 4 of mixture on each leaf of a hill that is in the middle of one end of the film. Verifyis the space between the hill and all the edges of the foil. Put 1 tablespoon of butter on top of each hill. Fold the other end of the foil over the top of the hill and then fold the side edges to the brim, so that when you're done, you have four full bags. Place the bag (butter up) on a very hot grill for about ten minutes, then turn and grill another 10 minutes, or until potatoes are soft. Take off grill and can stand some one minutes, then empty any bag in fourPlate.

White Christmas Chili

Ingredients:

8 skinless boneless chicken breast halves
2 med onions chopped
2 cloves garlic minced
1 tbl vegetable oil
2 can (14 1/2 oz. each) chicken broth
4 15 oz. cans cannellini beans rinsed and drained
1 15 oz. can cannellini beans drained and mashed
2 4.5 oz. cans chopped green chiles
1 tsp salt
3/4 tsp dried oregano
1 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp chili powder
1/2 tsp ground black pepper
1/8 tsp ground cloves
1/8 tsp ground red pepper


* Cut chicken into bite-size pieces.

* Saute chicken, onion, and garlic in hot oil in a Dutch oven over medium-high heat 10 minutes, or until chicken is done. Stir in broth and next 10 ingredients; bring to a boil. Cover; reduce heat, and simmer 30 minutes. Serve with desired toppings.

Ingredients:

• Olive oil
• 4 medium onions, chopped
• 2 medium green peppers, chopped
• 8 pounds ground beef
• 1 6 oz. can tomato paste
• 2 large cans(1 lb-13oz) cans stewed tomatoes
• 2 1lb cans tomato sauce
• 1 7oz. can chili salsa
• 6 cloves garlic, minced
• 2 3oz. jars chili powder
• 1jalapeno pepper (seeded, de-veined and chopped)
• 2 tablespoons salt
• 1 tablespoon oregano
• 2 teaspoons garlic powder
• 1 tablespoon ground black pepper

Directions:

Brown meat in large skillet (you may have to do 2 batches of browning) and drain. Heat oil in a very large pot over medium heat. Saute onions, green peppers, and garlic until softened, about 10 minutes. Add meat, tomato paste, stewed tomatoes and tomato sauce. Stir in garlic powder, chili powder, salt, black pepper, oregano, chile salsa, and jalapeno. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 3 hours, stirring every 15 minutes or so. Season to taste with salt and pepper halfway through cooking time.

Easy Chili Recipe

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 green bell pepper, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons plus 2 teaspoons chili powder
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced

  • 1 can (28 ounces) tomatoes, diced, with juices

Chili Relleno Recipes - Chili Relleno Casserole Recipe

Whip this relleno chili pot, if you're in the mood for a hearty Mexican meal night. , Or serve with a side of Spanish rice, tortilla chips and salsa.

2 (7 ounce) cans whole green chilies, drained
8 ounces Monterey Jack cheese, shredded
8 ounces Longhorn or Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 eggs, beaten
1 (5 ounces) can evaporated milk
2 tablespoons flour
1 / 2 cup milk
1 (8 ounce) can enchilada sauce or tomato sauce

Directions

Preheat oven to350 degrees.

Spray an 8x8-inch or 9x13-inch baking pan with non-stick cooking spray.

Layer half of the chilies evenly over the bottom of the casserole dish. Sprinkle on half of the Jack and cheddar cheese and cover with the remaining chiles.

In a bowl, mix the eggs, milk and flour. Pour over the top of chilies.

Bake 25 minutes. From oven and pour the tomato sauce evenly over the top of the pot. Continue baking for another 15 minutes.

Sprinkle with the remainingJack and cheddar cheese before serving.

Grease a casserole dish with 1/2 tablespoon of olive oil.



Open four cans of the green chilies. Cut chilies lengthwise and remove their seeds; drain on paper towels. Insert cheese pieces into the green chilies.



Separate the biscuits and roll each a flat. Cover each chili with a biscuit and seal well. Place chilies packed in a pan and bake for 10 minutes, or until the dough is cooked halfway.

Remove the pot from the oven. Cut in the remaining chiles lengthwise and layer them flat on top wrapped chile relleno.

In a pan, saute the onion in 1 tablespoon olive oil, onions, place on the chilies. Add cheese remains in the lead.

In a bowl beat the egg whites andfold them into the egg yolks. Spread egg mixture over the cheese layer. Bake another 15 minutes, or until golden brown.



Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.
